The MH-1 technology is not new to the professional automotive industry; they have been using similar, (vastly more expensive versions of it) and seeing the benefits of it for some years now. However, the MH-1 has now made the technology affordable to anyone who owns/maintains a motor vehicle - be it a car, motorcycle or commercial vehicle: -

• Ignition System Problems: Scan manifold temperature for misfire condition or low compression.
  
  
• Scan both sides of the catalytic converter for temperature differences.
  
• Scan radiators for core restrictions.
  
  
• Thermostat temperature easily measured. Heaters/AC vents, heating and cooling systems output.
  
• Diagnose brake bias and uneven braking.
  
  
• By checking tyre temperatures (as in the F-1 racing), after a 60mph. run, if one tyre has a much higher temp than others, the tyre may be under inflated, it could require re-balancing or even be misaligned. Whichever it is - high tyre temperature probably means low mileage per gallon and may possibly be dangerous.
